We know firsthand how difficult it can be to find just the right match, which is why we invest the time to really understand who you are looking for.

At the end of the day, we are not going through a database of staff in your zip code, we are personally matching your family with one of our trusted domestic staff. What that means to you is we really listen, so we can find you the best fit for your family.

Everyone of our domestic staff are personally interviewed by us to ensure they fit the mold of a qualified and professional domestic staff member and are a match for your family.

 

We Have a Birds Eye View of the matching process

This is a critical part of our process and what separates MD Elite Household Staffing LLC from other agencies. Being in your home and learning about your family’s dynamics and expectations will allow us to have a clearer vision of your ideal domestic staff. We will discuss in detail what qualities are important to you and what type of person you envision for the job. We will also discuss the work schedule, on-the-job expectations, personality attributes, and family philosophies.

Once there is a clear understanding of what you are looking for in a domestic staff, the process of interviewing potential candidates begins. Each candidate is put through a three-part interview process. This process includes a phone interview, a face-to-face interview and a thorough reference check. Once there are qualified candidates that match your description, you will receive their detailed profiles. Each profile includes a comprehensive summary of the candidate’s background, qualifications, and work-related experience.

Once you and your family have decided that you are interested in a candidate(s), we will coordinate an arranged in-person meeting. This is your chance to learn as much as you can about each candidate to determine if they are the right fit. Your post-interview feedback is essential in the process moving forward with the search process.

You can choose one or more candidates to ask back for a trial period. This typically takes place over the course of two 12-hour days or over a one-week period. This is an opportunity to connect with the candidate and find out if they would be a good fit for you and your family. The working interview is your opportunity to acclimate the candidate in your home, set expectations and observe how they interact with your child(ren) and the rest of your family.

There is no agency fee for this trial period, but you are responsible for paying the domestic staff directly for his/her time. Please note that if you do plan to trial the candidate for more than the 24-hour period, a $500 non-refundable deposit to MD Elite Household Staffing LLC is due on the first day of the trial.

If you decide you would like to officially hire our candidate, you will want to provide him/her with an initial verbal offer followed by a written conditional work offer. This agreement will include everything from the work schedule, on-the-job expectations, pay rate, benefits, completion of any certificates, background checks or vaccinations. MD Elite Household Staffing LLC will work with you to produce a detailed family/domestic staff conditional work offer.

The candidate starts their rigorous screening process with us on day one. MD Elite Household Staffing LLC performs an employment references verification check of three (3) work references. In the event the domestic staff has long term work references, the agency may also perform personal reference checks.

We outsource the following five-step background check. The background check will be sent to the client family prior to the hire’s start date:

  • Social Security Number Trace
  • Driving Record Search
  • County Criminal Record Search
  • Federal Criminal Access Search
  • Sex Offender Registry Check in all 50 States

Should you have a lapse in care or need standby childcare, we can provide temporary or on-call babysitters as well.
